Dr. Kingah, Pascal is a Clinical Associate Professor of the University of Texas McGovern Medical School. He is a faculty in the Divisions of Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep Medicine, in the Department of Internal Medicine. He is an adult pulmonologist and Intensivist. His interest in pulmonary medicine is on Sarcoidosis, a relatively rare disease condition with unknown cause.
While at UT he worked closely with Drs. Richard Castriotta and Rahat Hussein to set up the Sarcoidosis WASOG (World Association of Sarcoidosis and other Granulomatous Diseases) Center where he is currently recruiting patients on a nation-wide study on a novel treatment molecule. Currently he co-directs this clinic with Dr. Gautam Sikka as he now spends most of his time in the ICU at Memorial Hermann Cypress serving as ICU Director. In the past year he also worked closely with the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research where he presented on an online webinar to explain the differences between sarcoidosis and pulmonary fibrosis to patients.
Emmanuel Menga, FAOA, FAAOS, is a board-certified Orthopaedic surgeon specializing in minimally invasive and complex spinal surgery, including scoliosis. Serving as the Division Chief of Spine Surgery and Associate Professor of Orthopaedics & Neurosurgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center, Dr. Menga has made significant contributions to the field.
With a distinguished background, he served in the United States Navy as a Petty Officer before earning his Medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. Dr. Menga completed his residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he received the Frank L. Coulson, Jr. Award for Clinical Excellence. Following this, he pursued fellowship training in Orthopaedic spinal and deformity surgery at NYU Langone Medical Center and the Hospital for Joint Diseases.
Dr. Menga's expertise extends globally through traveling fellowships and collaborations with world-renowned spinal surgeons. Notably, he was awarded the prestigious Edgar Dawson Traveling Fellowship by the Scoliosis Research Society and recognized as one of the top 20 spine surgeons in North America under the age of 40 by the North American Spine Society.
